Welcome from Coquina Chinese Community Church

Thanks to the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the first and only Chinese-speaking Christian Church in the Daytona Beach area-Coquina Chinese Community Church-was established in 2014. In our congregation are Chinese and Asian American Christians from various backgrounds, occupations, and ages. We sincerely look forward to sharing with you the grace of the almighty God, who is the creator of everything in the universe, and the gospel of His only Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the foundation of Coquina Chinese Community Church. His amazing love binds us as a family. Jesus taught us, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” He has also given us the Holy Spirit so that we may have peace and joy of the Lord. We invite you to worship the Lord with us, and enjoy the peace and joy of His presence. All brothers and sisters of our church warmly welcome you and your family to join us!

Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice.
  2. We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save themselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy. 
  4. We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. 
  5. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith. 
  6. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation. 
  7. We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people, not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises. 
  8. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him. 
  9. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself. 
  10. We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
